The traditional Greek beekeeping method, a bearer of centuries of wisdom and sustainable knowledge, is at risk of disappearing
. Through Beelosophy's initiative, actions to preserve and highlight this heritage have been carried out in Crete and Attica, with the support of the Ministry of Culture. The initiative remains open for support to expand to new regions.

Results

  • 14 replicas of traditional beehives were created for educational purposes

  • A project brochure was published

  • A TV spot, trailer, and short documentary were produced

  • Interviews and research were conducted

  • A scientific event featuring 7 original publications was organised

  • A gastronomic event and cultural workshops were held

  • A sustainable, environmentally respectful beekeeping model is promoted
